How do I create an account on Dating Happens?+
Creating an account is simple! Click "Join Free" and complete our 5-step onboarding — just your basic info, interests, a photo, and your match preferences. The whole setup takes under 2 minutes.
Is Dating Happens free to use?+
Yes! Our Free plan lets you sign up, browse profiles, get limited daily matches, and send basic messages. Upgrade to Basic ($5/mo) or Pro ($10/mo) to unlock unlimited matches, calling features, and live streaming.
How does the matching algorithm work?+
Our smart algorithm considers your location, age preferences, shared interests, activity patterns, and swiping behavior. The more you use the app, the better the matches get. Verified profiles are prioritized in recommendations.
💬 Messaging & Calls
Can I message someone before we match?+
No — to protect users from unwanted messages, chat is only enabled once both users have liked each other and matched. This keeps conversations meaningful and consensual.
How do audio and video calls work?+
Audio and video calls are built directly into the Dating Happens app — no third-party apps needed. Open any chat, tap the 📞 or 🎥 button, and you're connected. HD video quality is included on Basic and Pro plans.
What is Live Streaming and how do I use it?+
Pro members can go live and broadcast to the Dating Happens community. Viewers can watch, chat, send virtual gifts, and react in real time. To start a stream, go to Live Stream → tap "Go Live".
💎 Subscriptions & Payments
What payment methods are accepted?+
We accept PayPal (automatic activation), major cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT), and manual bank transfers. Manual payments are reviewed and activated by our admin team within 24 hours.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?+
Absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period. No hidden fees or penalties.
How long does manual payment verification take?+
Our admin team typically reviews and approves manual payments within 12–24 hours. You'll receive an email notification when your subscription is activated. Crypto payments may take up to 2 hours for blockchain confirmation.
🔒 Safety & Privacy
How do I report or block someone?+
On any profile or in any chat, tap the "⋮" menu and choose "Report" or "Block". Blocked users cannot see your profile or contact you. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours.
How does profile verification work?+
Submit a government-issued ID through Settings → Verify Profile. Our team reviews it within 48 hours. Verified profiles receive a blue ✅ badge, get prioritized in matches, and inspire more trust from other users.
Is my data safe and private?+
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell personal data to third parties. You control your visibility — you can hide your profile from search at any time. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

1Meet in a public place — a café, restaurant, or park. Avoid private locations for first meetings.
2Tell a trusted friend or family member where you're going, who you're meeting, and when to expect you back.
3Arrange your own transportation — don't rely on your date to drive you home on a first meeting.
4Keep your phone charged and accessible. Check in with a friend mid-date if that helps you feel safer.
5Don't feel obligated to share personal details like your exact home address until you fully trust someone.
6Trust your instincts. If you feel unsafe at any point, it's completely okay to leave.
